The application of the Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (ARE) technology, which involves manipulation of the molecular properties of tonewoods, renders excellent tonal balance. The top of this guitar is constructed out of solid Engelmann spruce, which produces complex and overtone-rich sounds. The modified non-scalloped bracing pattern helps enhance low-end tone. This guitar is adorned by golden Yamaha machine heads for visual appeal. The Passive piezo pickup ensures a faithful reproduction of the guitar’s natural acoustic tone.
